Detailed course description:
Amanda will focus on how material clutter is a reflection of emotional clutter. Our surroundings tell a story about who we are. Home décor, the kind of car we drive, the clothes we wear are implications of our personality, and the state of those items speaks volumes about our self-worth.
When our homes, offices, cars, or any other space we occupy is disorganized and/or filled with items that do not represent our true self, we may feel disoriented in our career and relationships. The clutter may indicate inner turmoil or instability. We may feel we are unworthy of achievement and create spaces that impede our success. Internal, sometimes unconscious dialogue or feelings of less than, may force you to get in your own way.
A stable environment creates a stable inner world. Dominion over your space, a hold on where to locate items, as well as a deep connection to those items, makes life flow smoothly and effortlessly because you are in alignment with who you truly are and how you want to live. A messy life is a learned behavioral trait. I will provide tips for how to unlearn these traits and declutter life in order to feel a sense of security necessary to purposefully focus on the important things in life such as work, school, family, and fun.
