1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. ~ Registration
1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ~ Court Reporting Jeopardy (.15 CEUs) Test your knowledge with a fun game of Jeopardy that will include every aspect of the court reporting arena. From courtrooms to captioning and beyond, every contestant will walk away with a much greater understanding of our career and will even learn new aspects of court reporting that they didn’t know before. We will divide up into teams. The winning team will be rewarded with a great prize! Then the winning team will compete for the grand prize of a free registration to the Spring Symposium.
Break at 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. ~Time to network, grab a snack, and check out the auction items.
3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. ~ Gallery on the Go with Jason Beyer (No CEUs) Relax and enjoy some appetizers and beverages while painting a stenography masterpiece. Jason Beyer has been a professional artist for the past 18 years and started painting when he was 5 years old. He has been with Gallery on the Go for the past 6 years and loves working with novice artists. He will lead us in creating a painting of our steno machines with a fun Colorado background.
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. ~ Erika Yglesias (our beloved auctioneer) will auction off fabulous items while the paintings dry and we finish our snacks and beverages.
